In Central Asia, a bridal is a significant occasion that reflects the city is wandering record. Although some norms were outlawed during the 60 to 70 ages of Soviet/russian process, marriage continues to be a substantial affair. This is mainly because of the fact that the communities in this region are generally large, and each has its own special practices.

In the past, a few would spend time with their families before arranging their matrimony. The ceremony was generally held in fall or late summers, when the weather is cooler and economical food is available. The princess’s home had plan a huge feast and her female family would give her gifts. In many regions the couple’s community do give a dowry to the bride’s home, which could include horses, cattle, money, stitching or clothing.

The possible groom and his male family would then abduct the woman ( in the old nomadic days, by horseback, nowadays, by auto). He did then take her to the residence of his relatives or his family. His father and elder relatives would try to persuade the bride to put on a light shawl that signified her approval of the relationship, or danger pain and even death. This practise, known as ala kachuu, was outlawed during the Soviet period, but it appears to be making a comeback.

On the day of the marriage, the girl would be sent with her dowry wagon to the groom’s house. She would remain expected to walk that nude, and on the manner she was supposed to be showered with sweets and cash. She also had to sing goodnight tunes before she left her parental apartment, such as the famous Kyrgyz track Koshtasi Zhari.
